What to expect from our Inspections Team
All of our Inspectors and Engineers are DBS checked, and carry Identification at all times. Further details can be found on our DBS page
Arrangements for inspection can be made in advance with our Admin team. Appointments can be made at a time to suit the facility during or outside of normal working hours
A site contact is to be made available by the school to ensure access to all required inspection areas.
If a minor defect can be repaired at the time of Inspection, we will endeavour to do so.
After each inspection, the Inspector will explain the contents and findings of the Inspection to facility representative, highlighting any high level defects which may require immediate attention.
After each inspection, you will be provided with a comprehensive report. This report details the equipment inspected, its present condition and any remedial work required, in accordance with the Sorts Inspection Services risk assessment matrix.
After review of the electronic report and further discussion if required, you can request an estimate to take remedial action and conduct any repairs accordingly.
All Inspections and Maintenance Services provided by Sports Inspection Services are designed to comply with the British Standards Institute BS EN 913 2008 for Indoor Equipment and BS EN 1176 for Outdoor Play Equipment plus the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
